Photography has been a creative outlet for me in many ways. From landscape to studio, I have a deep affection to experiment with an arrangement of ideas and thoughts that are beautiful, contradicting, psychological, and mysterious. The way I perceive form is translated into a visual idea. My intent is for the viewer to wander through, pause to reflect, and investigate a connection. Often, my interpretation using elements deliberately or whimsically, brings me to discovery and revelation.
As a fine artist, my canvas remains fresh each and every day, inspired by many virtuosos and masters working in a variety of mediums past and present. I enthusiastically embrace new ideas, science and technology, and the knowledge to pursue my expression.
Film images are scanned to simulate the wet print. Digital files are gently enhanced with Photoshop and kept as close to what was seen in the viewfinder.
